Cristiano Ronaldo's wait to return to Juventus' Continassa training ground is over as he began working with his team-mates again on Tuesday.  

The Portuguese superstar opted to spend the lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic at his home in Madeira. 

He went there with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and his four children in an effort to avoid contracting the virus, http://cricnfootball.website2.me/blog/gerogina-gucci-store having seen three of his team-mates in Daniele Rugani, Paulo Dybala and Blaise Matuidi among the first Serie A players to test positive for Covid-19.

The 35-year-old was given the green light to return to Juventus training on Tuesday

Maurizio Sarri was among first to arrive on Tuesday as he gets down to work with his side

Veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon gave a wave to photographers as he drove into training

Team-mates like Aaron Ramsey have already been putting in work on the training ground

Ronaldo did not take his time off for granted, though, and Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri will be optimistic that his star man will look sharp for his first training session at their facility in more than two months. 

Along with his family, Ronaldo returned to Turin at the start of May and was required to spend 14 days at home in self-isolation as per government rules for international arrivals. 

While Ronaldo was working on his footwork in the garden with Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, team-mates such as Aaron Ramsey, Juan Cuadrado and Giorgio Chiellini were back on the training ground.
