The screen is bright even under the sun, vivo y71 PD1731F and to keep your new phone scratch free, both the front and back already come with film protectors installed. I'm not a big fan of this since it gives the phone a plasticky feel, especially on the rear.

20170912_201149.jpgIts $150 price tag (or about £100 or AU$210) is ridiculously low for a 5.5-inch screen, and that's how Blu is building its brand. If you absolutely must have a large-screen, low-cost phone, the Blu vivo PD1731F firmware XL announced here at CES in Las Vegas is throwing its hat in the ring.

Pricing has not been revealed, but you'll likely be able to buy this in China. Besides the software enhancements, the V9 boasts of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, which puts this phone in the midrange bracket. Given that my hands-on unit sports Hong Kong localization and a retail sticker from the Philippines, it's likely the V9 will head to other markets in the region pretty soon.

To unlock the X20 Plus UD, it's as simple as putting your finger on the screen, though the tradeoff is you won't be able to use a thick screen protector. It's not a completely new phone, though -- the X20 Plus UD is an updated version of the X20 Plus, with the aforementioned tech instead of a rear fingerprint scanner. Don't fret though, it comes bundled with a compatible one.

The highlight of the phone, the 8-megapixel selfie camera lives inside the phone body and pops up when you take a selfie. The eject mechanism is also pretty strong too, enough to keep pushing away my finger, which was purposely blocking it, with some strength. The mechanism is sturdy and likely unlikely to break. I tested it carefully at first before applying more force, and I'm confident that it's anything but flimsy. When you switch from the rear dual cameras to the front pop-up selfie, the switching speed is only slower by about half a second at most compared to the iPhone X.

China's Vivo is on a roll. The phone maker broke ground with its Vivo Apex, a concept phone that featured a pop-up selfie camera and underscreen fingerprint sensor. It then brought those features to retail in the beautiful Vivo Nex.

The Vivo V11 comes sporting a full HD AMOLED display that Vivo's dubbed "Halo FullView." It's got barely any bezels -- they're just 1.76 millimetres thick -- boasts a 91.2 percent screen-to-body ratio, and features the same water drop inspired notch design as the aforementioned R17.

That's also where you find the V9's fingerprint scanner, a feature the iPhone X doesn't have. Sadly, the V9 doesn't come with the fingerprint scanner built into the display that Vivo recently showed off.

Again, this can probably be done with a simple algorithm, so it's not clear where the AI comes in. Other so-called "AI" features include one where the phone recognizes when you're looking at it, and adjusts the volume of messaging alerts, calls and alarms.

The Nex costs 3,898 yuan, which converts to $575, £440 or AU$775. The phone's major drawbacks are its terribly unwieldy iOS clone of an operating system and the fact that the Nex is currently limited to a few countries. Besides China, the Nex will be available in Russia, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan soon, but there's no word on when, or even if, it will head west.

The in-screen fingerprint scanner is fast enough that I don't mind the lack of a physical button, and because it has a front 25-megapixel selfie camera, it can also do face unlocking -- you can choose either method to unlock your phone.

Every person has their own style and it is important in this modern world to make sure your phone stands out in the crowd. If you want to make a style statement on your mobile back cover is like an accessory too besides being a protective phone back cover for your Vivo Y17 phone, so browse wisely and think before purchasing if it will make you stand out and if it will be a blissful back cover for your Vivo Y17 Smartphone. When finding a suitable phone cases for your Vivo Y17 phone, you should remember what material to go for, how well it suits your phone and how it also gels with your personality too.

In fact, it bears a striking similarity the Oppo R17 ($443 at Amazon), one of the first wave of midrange phones sporting the tech -- no surprise, given Oppo and Vivo's close industry relationships. The latest V11 phone doesn't feature the same pop-up camera, but it does sport an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Both companies are owned by Chinese electronics giant BKK Electronics, which also owns OnePlus.

The Nex is amazing to look at, and it's the perfect conversation starter. I've had plenty of people marvel at the pop-up camera, though the first question is usually almost always, "Will it break?" The answer is no, it won't, but more on that later.

From Oppo's R15 to the Asus ZenFone 5, the iPhone X notch is now mainstream on phones, and Vivo's latest V9 doesn't stray from the crowd. If you're getting tired of seeing Android phones with notches, the bad news is the wave is still at its crest.
