For a crash on West Bartges Street near LaSalle Drive, police said in a news release.Witnesses reported the boy was riding his bicycle in the westbound left lane of West Bartges Street when three motorcyclists, also in the left lane, approached from behind.The first two motorcyclists changed lanes to pass the bicyclist, but the third motorcyclist struck the child, police said.Officers found the boy in the roadway with fatal injuries.
