Whether it's a rogue dark hair or fine lightly pigmented peach fuzz, hair removal is a personal choice.

But if you are looking to remove unwanted body or facial hair we've got you covered.
You can't always permanently remove hair, but there are a few options to help temporarily reduce it, from waxing and epilating to at-home treatments such as intense pulsed light (IPL). And thankfully they're easy to use too, all without causing pesky in-grown hairs, redness and irritation.

Ahead, we've shared the very best methods, tools and gadgets to help remove unwanted hair at home, no matter your hair type and needs.

1.

A purse-friendly hair dye to conceal stray grey hairs and root regrowth

Stray grey hairs?
You've heard it before: if you pull out one grey, three will pop up in its place. But you'll be pleased to hear this is a complete myth.

If there is a grey hair that you must get rid of, you can pluck away if you like, but it might just take a while.

A less time-consuming option is a root touch up such as Clairol Nice 'n Easy Root Touch Up, which is an ideal solution in between salon visits.

This permanent colour will work even on coarse, resilient grey hairs and there are more than 15 colours to choose from, including red.
The £6 kit includes a brush for more accurate application.

2. Say goodbye to unwanted tummy hair for good with this at-home IPL hair removal gadget

There are many ways to remove unwanted stomach hair.

Plucking can be time-consuming and, as the skin here can be sensitive, waxing isn't ideal either. While shaving is quick and painless it can cause irritating, unattractive stubble.

For best results, opt for an intense pulsed light (IPL) gadget, which is an efficient and relatively pain-free way to remove body hair at-home.
The device works by emitting pulses of light that target the melanin in the hair follicle beneath the skin's surface.

When used over a few weeks, the pulses disrupt growth and can help reduce the amount of hair that grows back, leaving you with silky, smooth skin.

3.

These wax strips for sensitive skin will effectively remove pubic peekers

There's nothing more frustrating than a random pubic hair sticking out from under your bikini.

Yes, you can pluck them, but it's meticulous and almost certain to sting. We recommend waxing over using tweezers to remove any stragglers you've missed or that have popped up between waxes.

Although at-home waxing may be a tad daunting, it removes the hair from the root leaving you hair-free for a longer period of time.

It can also reduce itching as hairs grow back. For best results, time your hair removal after a warm shower as the hairs are usually softer, so come out more easily, and it will be less painful.

Veet Wax Strips will leave your bikini line super-smooth without irritation thanks to their dermatologically tested formulation of almond oil and vitamin E.

Plus they are ready to use in an instant.

Warm up the double-sided wax strip by rubbing between your palms, peel, apply to the skin, and remove swiftly in the opposite direction using the specially developed grip tab. For smaller areas cut the strips in half - this will also reduce pain.

4.

These curved scissors will safely remove hair protruding from a mole

Removing hair from a mole is the same as removing hair anywhere on your body.
If the mole is raised, avoid shaving, instead safely pluck the hairs away. If a few strands are sprouting out of a mole, you can also trim any hairs close to the skin's surface with a pair of curved scissors such as Tweezerman's Facial Hair Scissors.

The rounded scissors allow you to cut hair without running the risk of snipping your skin. And remember, if at any time your mole starts to change shape or look different than usual, arrange to see your doctor.

5.

A top-rated nose trimmer for annoying nasal hair

Plucking the odd nose hair is okay, but it can be eye-wateringly painful and make you sneeze.
It's worth noting too that nasal hair has an important job to do.

Nose hair traps dirt and germs until we blow them out, so there's no need to remove them from the roots, particularly if you're susceptible to allergies or sinusitis.

Tweezerman's curved scissors will do the job, or you can invest in a nose trimmer.

Both will minimise the appearance of nose hair without putting your health at risk or damaging the delicate skin inside your nose.

6.

Get rid of hair on your toes with this trusty pair of tweezers from cult brand Tweezerman

Do you have hair on your toes?

The smartest approach on removing toe fuzz all depends on how hairy they are.

For those with very hairy toes, we recommend wax strips designed for small areas, or epilation, which is a fast and effective method that lasts longer.

If you're considering shaving, don't! As more often than not, this will result in toe stubble.

And if you've just got a couple of hairs, grab each one with some tweezers and pluck them out. Make sure to do your plucking in good light so that you can see each hair clearly and ensure you don't miss any.

7.

This facial epilator will completely remove hair from lips, chin, cheeks and even downy 'peach-fuzz'

Chin hairs tend to crop up as we get older, thanks to fluctuating hormones.
But as they're usually few and far between, they can be easily plucked.

But if you want to get rid of larger areas of hair such as fuzz along your upper lip, or cheeks, it's worth noting that root hair removal methods like epilation are longer-lasting and faster than tweezers.

This facial epilator removes even the tiniest of hairs at the root without pulling or http://allinfootballncricket.mystrikingly.com/blog/mayanti-langer-ipl-lady-anchor pain as you run the vibrating head over your face in circular motions.

It's also small enough to carry in your handbag or purse, just in case you see a stray hair in the car mirror.
